Lay a strong foundation with MPGM Music Academy

Music has different meanings for different individuals. Some of us consider it as meditation and a source of contentment and self-discovery, while some of us want to take up music as a profession. At MPGM Music Academy, we believe that two students can’t learn music in the same way. This is why, we teach music as per individual objectives, growth charts, and milestones .

Admission

Music, like other forms of art, requires a lot of dedication, commitment, discipline, practice, patience, determination and devotion. Admission is open to one and all with the above requirements.

Currently, in MPGM academy, students range from 6 years to over 70 years.

We Follow "Guru Shishya Parampara"

Taking an examination is absolutely optional because we believe in the “Guru Shishya Parampara of music education. In the “Guru Shishya” ideology, a disciple of music continuously follows and learns from the Guru. We believe that one should try to be a “disciple” of his/her Guru rather than a “student”. Being a disciple requires a rigorous and continuous commitment to Music. In that sense, certifications and examinations do not matter, as the Guru is fully aware of the disciple’s level of accomplishments and skills. We encourage our students to focus on learning and continuing the tradition of music, the way it has been followed through generations. However, if someone wants to take an examination as a means of quantitatively assessing his or her individual level of accomplishment, we will not discourage.

Extensive Syllabi

Our training covers the syllabi designed by the eminent music universities of India like Prayag Sangeet Samiti (Allahabad), Pracheen Kala Kendra (Chandigarh), Bangiya Sangeet Parishad (West Bengal), Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal (Mumbai), Indira Kala Vishwavidyalay (Khairagarh) etc.

For students who wants to take a certification examination, we advise them to learn properly first from his/her Guru and if they are absolutely ready, then only appear for the examination.

We arrange a facility to appear in the examination under the various boards with our own conditions.
